Saint-Leu Lagoon

A natural, living jewel steps from your aparthotel

Just a few minutes from the town centre and our residence, the Saint-Leu lagoon is one of the jewels of Réunion’s west coast. Protected by the coral reef, it forms a shallow, safe swimming area, with water temperatures of around 25°C depending on thees saisons.

Equipped with fins, a mask and a snorkel, explore magnificent coral formations teeming with colourful tropical fish. Just a few metres from the shore, the underwater scenery changes completely. Divers can also explore the marine nature reserve, while surfers enjoy the waves of the famous Saint-Leu Left. After a swim in the lagoon, savour a meal with your feet in the sand at one of the beachfront restaurants or snack bars.

At weekends, settle in near the rondavelles and enjoy open-air concerts overlooking the ocean. This local tradition creates a lively and friendly atmosphere along the lagoon. The nearby marina adds to the charm, while the sunsets over the lagoon provide a memorable spectacle every evening.

Make the most of your stay by visiting Kélonia, the sea turtle observatory, and the Stella Matutina Museum, which tells the story of Réunion Island’s sugar industry.
