4. Personal data protection

In accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 on data protection (GDPR) and French Act No. 78-17 of 6 January 1978, as amended, relating to data processing, data files and individual liberties, SAGEHO SAS, as data controller, informs website users of the following.

Purposes of processing. Data collected through the website (contact forms, booking forms, newsletter sign-up) is processed to manage enquiries and bookings, to manage the customer relationship and, where applicable and subject to the user’s prior consent, for commercial prospecting.

Legal basis. Depending on the processing concerned: performance of the booking contract, the legitimate interest of SAGEHO SAS, or the consent of the data subject (commercial prospecting, non-essential cookies).

Recipients. Data is intended for SAGEHO SAS and its authorised staff. It may be shared with its technical service providers (hosting provider, booking/PMS solution, email platform) acting as processors within the meaning of Article 28 GDPR, strictly to the extent necessary for the performance of their services.

Retention period. Data is retained for the duration of the business relationship, then archived for the applicable statutory limitation period, in particular five years from the end of the business relationship in accordance with Article 2224 of the French Civil Code.

Transfer outside the European Union. As the website is hosted by a provider established in the United Kingdom, data may be transferred to that country. This transfer is governed by the adequacy decision adopted by the European Commission under Article 45 GDPR, recognising that the United Kingdom ensures a level of data protection substantially equivalent to that of the European Union.
